The Public Works Department provides for the health, safety, and comfort of Guadalupe residents, businesses, and visitors. The mission of the department is to meet the essential needs of the City in the most efficient and economical manner possible. The Department is responsible for the following:
* Clean and reliable drinking water
* Sanitary wastewater collection and treatment
* Properly designed and maintained streets, walkways, bikeways, storm drains, parks, public landscaping, street lights, and civic facilities
* Management of the City’s vehicle and equipment fleet
