Adopted 2042 General Plan
On November 22, 2022, the Guadalupe City Council took action and adopted the 2042 General Plan. Additionally, they approved a Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) that evaluated the environmental impacts on the General Plan’s implementation. Both documents are available for review on the Building and Planning webpage. Hard copies may be viewed in the Building and Planning Department during regular office hours.
With the adoption of the General Plan, staff will now prepare a consistency rezone to harmonize the zoning designations with the newly revised land use designations. This includes 115 properties within the City.
The General Plan identified a number of Goals, Policies and Programs through each of the required and additional Elements. There are a total of 42 new Programs that must be prepared over the next three years. Those programs are all identified in Chapter 11 – Implementation. This new General Plan will help direct planning efforts in the City for at least the next 20 years.

El 22 de noviembre de 2022, el Concejo Municipal de Guadalupe tomó acción y adoptó el Plan General 2042. Adicionalmente, aprobaron una Declaración Negativa Mitigada (MND) que evaluó los impactos ambientales en la implementación del Plan General. Ambos documentos están disponibles para su revisión en la página web de Construcción y Planificación. Las copias impresas se pueden ver en el Departamento de Construcción y Planificación durante el horario normal de oficina.
Con la adopción del Plan General, el personal ahora preparará una rezonificación consistente para armonizar las designaciones de zonificación con las designaciones de uso de suelo recientemente revisadas. Esto incluye 115 propiedades dentro de la ciudad.
El Plan General identificó una serie de Metas, Políticas y Programas a través de cada uno de los Elementos requeridos y adicionales. Hay un total de 42 nuevos Programas que deben prepararse en los próximos tres años. Esos programas están todos identificados en el Capítulo 11 – Implementación. Este nuevo Plan General ayudará a dirigir los esfuerzos de planificación en la Ciudad durante al menos los próximos 20 años.
