Notice of a Public Hearing

Consideration of an Ordinance Authorizing the Implementation of

A Community Choice Aggregation Program by Participating

In Monterey Bay Community Power Community Choice Aggregation

Program.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Guadalupe will hold a Public Hearing to receive Public input on the consideration of an Ordinance and Resolution that if adopted would permit the City to join as a member of the Monterey Bay Community Power (MBCP) Joint Powers Authority and Authorize the Mayor to Execute the Joint Powers Authority Agreement as Amended with MBCP. As a member of the Authority, Pacific Gas and Electric customers within the City would have an opportunity to choose their power source including the use of green renewable sources. The Public Hearing will take place on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 6:00 PM or immediately thereafter and will be held in the Guadalupe Council Chambers located at 918 Obispo Street, Guadalupe CA.

The Staff report regarding this item will be available to the Public for review on Friday, July 5, 2019 in the City Administrators Office.

Public Involvement. You are invited to attend the Public Hearing and provide input. Written and/or oral comments provided at the Public Hearing are welcome and will be entered into the public record. Written information should be transmitted prior to the meeting if at all possible.  Comments can be submitted by mail to the City of Guadalupe Administrator’s Office. Comments may also be e-mailed to Mr. Robert Perrault Interim City Administrator at rperrault@ci.guadalupe.ca.us.
