NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 the City Council of the City of Guadalupe adopted Ordinance No. 2018-471, entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GUADALUPE, CALIFORNIA, Prohibiting Commercial Cultivation, Manufacturing, Processing, Laboratory Testing, Labeling, Storing, Wholesale and Retail Sales and Distribution, and Deliveries of Cannabis, Cannabis Products, and All Cannabis Derivatives in the City of Guadalupe, except for deliveries for medical purposes from dispensaries located outside of the City

PROPOSALS FOR THE WORK DESCRIBED AND SHOWN ON THE PLANS ENTITLED:
11TH STREET AND PERALTA STORM DRAIN EXTENSION
Will be received at the offices of the Building Department, City of Guadalupe, 918 Obispo Street, Guadalupe, California 93434, until 2:00 p.m. local time, May 2, 2018, at which time they will be publicly opened and read at the same address.
GENERAL WORK DESCRIPTION: The work, located on 11th and Peralta Streets, involves the upgrading of two sections of existing 18-inch storm drain with 24-inch HDPE storm drain pipe. Where the new alignment conflicts, the existing storm drain will be removed, and other sections are to be abandoned in place. The existing 4” CI water line in the same section of 11th Street will be upgraded with new 8” C-900 PVC water line. Where the new waterline alignment conflicts with the existing line, it will be removed, and other sections are to be abandoned in place. To improve drainage issues, the spandrel, handicap ramps, curb, gutter, sidewalk and storm drain inlet at 11th and Obispo Streets will be removed and replaced, with work extending the match existing grades. The work includes traffic control and storm water pollution control programs, and other various items as specified in the Contract Documents.
WORK SCHEDULE: Work must be completed within 40 working days from the Notice to Proceed. Work on this drainage related project is to commence outside of the rainy season, from April 15 to October 15, 2018.
